Let's face it. Most advertising that makes it to the screen in New Zealand is utter cods. Either they are imported from overseas stockpiles of commercials by multinational companies; made on the cheap by local ones; dreary nostalgia; dreary jingoism; immature schlock or just plain shouty rubbish. Enough to turn the set off and read a good book. Or an ordinary book…

And then there are commercials that illuminate the human condition, exude interestingness and offer an alternative the the ad infested waters of free to air television such as this:
